What do we do?
Pine Rivers Orchid Society has been in operation as a local community group since 1980. We are completely run by volunteers.
All our income goes back to members.
We promote orchid growing and share our knowledge simply by getting together at our Monthly Meetings.
Our local members bring flowering orchids and have a friendly competition.
We also have Shows! This is where, twice a year, we display our flowering orchids to the general public.
A small fee at the door provides visitors with a visual feast. Our Show visitors can buy plants, potting supplies and obtain some free advice too.
